Fans of the new CBBC show, My Mum Tracy Beaker may spot one of our grandest nightclub installations in an upcoming episode.

The three-part drama is a spin-off from the hugely successful Tracy Beaker, which ran for series starting in 2002, where she is now a single parent to 10-year-old Jess. The TV adaptations were based on the best-selling books by Dame Jacqueline Wilson.

Last October, filming for the series took the cast to History Nightclub in Manchester City Centre, where you can see our stunning Bespoke LED Chandelier measuring 10×5 meters with an impressive drop scaling from 1 to 1.5 meters.

The nightclub, known for its crowds of Manchester’s young professionals and the best in hip hop, R&B and house, is housed in a historic building, Milton Hall, and was once home to the BBC Orchestra.

It was clear we needed a spectacular lighting installation to equal the grandeur of the heritage building when we were approached with the idea of creating a centrepiece for the club.

Our Bespoke LED Chandelier measures 10 by 5 metres, with an incredible drop that scales from between 1 and 1.5 metres, which is controlled by Madrix lighting control systems, capable of producing more than 16 million colours with infinite possible effects.

On top of that, we used our picturesque Pixite® Indoor LED display to create a four-metre square full-colour video wall on one side of the club, and with our custom Flex range, we wrapped a video screen around the DJ box.

The stunning fully indexable pixel VIP creates the perfect Instagram-photo-moment wherever you are in the club.
