After the success of Material Source Manchester, we have partnered with the Material Source team again on their new studio in Glasgow. Material Source Studio is a brand-new concept serving the architecture and design community through an inspirational hub. It puts on show world-class products and materials to suit every project, from hospitality, workplace, and healthcare, to residential, retail, education and the public realm.
We were asked to provide a complete LED solution including Theatre presentation space & Welcome Desk. By definition the space is used by a wide range of people, this provided a challenge where every system was required to work with any device that may be brought in. Ease of use and the ability to Plug & Play were crucial in this project.
In the 70-seat theatre our aim was to provide an unrivalled viewing experience. Our fantastic Pixite® 146” Indoor Series LED Screen was the perfect choice in our 2mm pitch – a choice popular in high-spec finished building projects. Boasting HDR, 16 Bit Colour & a total depth, including all framework, of only 62mm – one of the thinnest solutions on the market.
The screens source can be easily switched between the on-stage lectern or back stage rack control space, automatically switching over the audio source simultaneously.
The Welcome Screen is also in our 2mm pixel pitch option, with a 3200 x 1220mm 1,000nit LED Screen. Display superb visuals & shortly to display information about events which are on, weather conditions & travel news. This is all available through our free-to-use online Content Management System.
