Our Lady’s RC High School in Manchester is a well-established educational institution dedicated to providing a supportive and enriching environment for its students. As part of their commitment to enhancing educational experiences, the school sought to upgrade their audiovisual capabilities by installing a large, high-resolution LED screen in their main assembly hall. The screen would be used for a variety of purposes, including school assemblies, presentations, performances, and events. Pixite was selected to deliver and install the screen, incorporating advanced protective features to ensure durability and longevity.

Solution

Pixite installed a high-resolution LED screen with the following key features:

• Dimensions: 6.08 x 3.52 meters, providing a large display area suitable for school-wide presentations and events.
• Pixel Pitch: 3mm, ensuring high pixel density for sharp and detailed images, even when viewed from a distance.
• ResinProtect Technology: The screen was equipped with Pixite’s ResinProtect layer, a durable impact and water-resistant coating applied to the LED modules. This technology, also known as GOB, provides additional protection against physical damage and moisture.

Unlike most other suppliers we manufacturer our LED solutions for you, not using imported generic cabinets – this allowed us to achieve a brilliantly shallow depth of only 63mm from the wall with significantly less weight loading than traditional solutions. This method works perfectly for custom LED screens like this, meaning we can create custom solutions for window displays, retail spaces & much more. We use significantly less materials to build our displays than most LED suppliers – this allows us to be much kinder on the environment & much kinder on our clients wallets whilst still offering our fantastic Two Year Warranty as standard.
