Exhibitions and events are finally back to full strength, after years of hybrid events and travel restrictions. They are a great way to showcase your business to potential customers, as well as network with like minded people in your industry. One of the most important factors to get right is the stand design. Here are a few tips.
Have a clear brand identity
This might seem like a basic point, but a lot of good stands are let down by the fact that there is not enough information about who the company is and what they do. Make sure that you use the company logo, colour scheme, and font style that are used across your website, products, stationery, and so on to ensure that potential customers recognise your brand.
The company name should be large enough to be read from a distance, with a line or two explaining who you are and what you do. There’s no need to go into lots of detail, the aim is just to get people to come over for a closer look at your stand.
Include some interactive technology
A bright digital display such as an LED poster can really help to make your design stand out and attract the attention of passersby. You can incorporate interactive features such as QR codes that visitors can scan to access your website, or video or animation to help promote or showcase your products or services.
Have something for visitors to takeaway
While it’s important to make use of technology, some physical items that your customers can take away with them will help to make your business remain fresh in their minds. This could simply be a leaflet or business card, or a branded freebie such as a tote bag or pen.
