Sunderland College Indoor 1.5mm & 1.6mm LED Screen plus Audio

Sunderland College went out to tender to provide a spectacular new Theatre & Presentation Space for their students – amongst many other options we were delighted to be chosen to provide a solution for them.

We created two Pixite® LED Screens using our Ultra-High Definition modules in a 1.5mm & 1.6mm pixel pitch, creating the perfect canvas for the teachers to present and for students to experience their work in ways they’ve never been able to before. A major step forward & an incredible tool for teaching.

In addition, due to the size of the Living Staircase & the complexities around students seeing & hearing in all locations we provide a superb audio solution. Discrete speakers were mounted within the ceiling at lower levels and two large professional sound bars at the top level all fed from a wireless microphone giving teachers the ability to present with ease & simplicity. We also mounted a camera into the ceiling to allow for the teachers to appear in Picture in Picture at the top level, plus all of the lectures can be recorded including audio for future-use. A true end-to-end solution!
