Job Role: Installation Engineer

Salary: £29,000 – £32,500 DOE + Performance Bonus

About us:

Pixite is one of the UK’s fastest growing LED screen & Digital display suppliers. We work with an incredible portfolio of clients across wide array of sectors, delivering our high-quality products on a national basis. Due to consistent growth, we are now looking for an experienced LED Screen Install Engineer to join us.

This role is very important to the business, and we are looking for an induvial who can become a senior engineer with their own team to manage in the future, so if you have that ambition, we would be very keen to hear from you.

The Job:

  • Installation of large, modular LED Screens & LCDs across a range of sectors including retail, events, hospitality etc
  • Preparing equipment and tools for installations
  • Configuration and commissioning of LED/LCD Displays
  • Diagnosing, servicing and repair of LED & LCD Screens at customer sites
  • Training junior team members
  • Working to our H&S Policy & method statements
  • Working to project deadlines to deliver an exceptional product for our clients

Requirements:

  • Experience with LED Screens and their installation, preferably in fixed installation scenarios
  • The ability to work to precise measurements with an understanding of technical drawings
  • Experience using power tools and basic knowledge of building materials, for example fixing brackets into different substrates
  • Experience in service and maintenance of LED
  • Hold a full clean UK Driving License for a minimum of 12 months
  • An understanding our business operates nationwide, and a large part of the job will be on-site installations requiring overnight stays
  • Positive attitude and ability to represent the business well and you will be directly interacting with clients
  • Flexible attitude and the ability to respond positively to change
  • High attention to detail

Desirable Experience:

  • Electrical knowledge (terminating data cables, wiring diagrams, wiring into flex outlets)
  • Some basic understanding of the Novastar control software or understanding of other similar control software
  • Video signal knowledge, understanding of HDMI etc
  • Experience working with metal
  • Technical knowledge and an ability to understand technical software packages
  • IPAF & PASMA
  • Knowledge of CAD software
  • Knowledge of soldering
